These are the final photo’s of the device that i will use for my final project and what will be featuring in my final project. I used hairbands and sunglasses. With superglue and band fabric i was able to make a headpiece and attach a mp3 device to attach to the laptop.

I then thought of making a interactive blog for putting a wordpress blog and making it appear like its interactive. I will just be setting up as a seperate page and then adding it later. I will make links in it to other sites that will enable you to upload pictures.

I then made a poster towards my project by basing it on my favourout anime designs and adding my project in with my idea. I looked at diffrent colours i could use for my project and thought of red white and black would be the best colours to use.

After some thinking i came up with some rough scetches of what i feel my device will look like. I thought at first maybe making somthing extravigant but this maybe to complexed and big for the user to where.
I then went into using the oridginal idea or a ordinary headband. Yet i felt this was too simplified so i went to using multiple headbands and putting them together with some goggles on the front. Yet the goggles seemed to off putting so i then thought of using a visior and putting this on the front. i felt the colours could be varied to diffrent styles and shades for the device so i then made it multiple styles till i liked the last idea.
The final one is the idea i will go with for my personal project.

After coming up with some designs (as shown above) i thought the best one to use would be to use a headband concept or perhaps even. Or maybe even a small headscarf that i could equip a set of mp3 player headphones that can attach to the laptop for dream custimation.
These are some leading fashion headbands that are available at the moment.

I then looked at other head pieces that i could use for this device.My prototype must be easy to use and wear be functunal, yet styleish and have features diffrent to most devices. It must also have the caperbilty to add more features in the future.
One device in perticular is the a full head skull cap used in brain monerting this is found in cat scan hospitals. Yet it monitors every part of the brain and can easily foward the data back to a computer which was somthinbg i wanted to make.
My device will focas primaryily on the subconsious and rapid eye movement of the body it will also cover the other parts of the mind such as short term thought and outer sences.
Below is a skull cap used in research labs.

My device will proberly be somting to cover the eyes and hold onto the head so i will have to come up with a prototypes for this.

After some brain storming i thought of many idea’s of which i could make this device out of so i thought of perhaps making some sort of headpiece for my device. First i looked at diffrent peoples ideas for mind reading which are used to day.

Above is a lie machine currently being used in crime interrigation units across the uk. This helps to identifie criminals and more importantly uncover the truth within there web of lies.
Another device used for lie detection is a finger scanner which detects the emound of sweat produced when a human lies as shown below.

Next i looked at various films and science fiction novels that have depicted dream reading in there works. The matrix and Final fantasy shows a large advancement in the development in furthering dream reading technolagey if we only push our abilities hard enough.
